The Duchy Health Charity is a company limited by guarantee. It is administered by a Board of Trustees, whose members are clinicians, doctors, nurses and other health service professionals, as well as lay members of the community. The board receives advice from professionals in the acute and primary care trusts.
The Charity’s Aims
The Duchy Health Charity’s aim is to help improve the well-being, health and care of people in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly by making grants to appropriate charities and organisations. We also try to increase understanding of the health trends of our community by sponsoring seminars which focus on important issues of social and medical care.
