Who Decides
Applications to The Duchy Health Charity come before the Grant Committee which can approve the grant of sums of up to £20,000. In the case of larger sums, the committee makes recommendations to the Board of Trustees.
The Grant Committee meets quarterly in Truro to discuss applications. Applicants may be invited to make presentations to the Grant Committee.

14 January 2010; 15 April 2010; 15 July 2010; 14 October 2010 and 20 January 2011
Applications should be submitted at least three weeks before each meeting date to ensure they are properly investigated, discussed and considered
Grant offers made by this Charity may be subject to certain conditions such as raising the balance of any required funding. Payment of a grant for capital projects will usually only be made on receipt of evidence that the expenditure has been incurred. Grants to meet revenue costs will be paid by instalments spread over the period of the relevant project. Grants not claimed within twelve months of an offer being made may be withdrawn.
